China’s Acupuncture Treatment– key component of TCM – relieves pain, originated in China and spread all over the world. A modern type of acupuncture helps in the treatment of urinary leakage especially in women while sneezing and coughing. Based on the publications of JAMA it was found that the electro-acupuncture stops the involuntary leak of urine during coughing and sneezing.
In Electro-acupuncture, paired electrodes are attached to needle handles and electric stimulation lasts for minutes.
The needles are inserted into certain acupuncture points of the body and relieves much better than Electro-acupuncture.
There are around 600 standard acupuncture points in human body.
The needles are pushed in a few centimeters, and then heated, twisted or even electrified in the techniques of modern acupuncture.
Acupuncture is believed to address the nausea, headache, lower back pain, mood swings, a recent study published in PLOS One reported.
The centuries old treatment provides a safer way to kick-off pain without causing multiple side effects. But acupuncture is harmless if performed by trained practitioner using clean needles, the treatment might be obscure otherwise.
