PPSC is a powerful institution that hires manpower for all departments that play their part in policy and decision making. However, the illegal and corrupt practices of PPSC officials is a serious question on the credibility and working of the institution.
Due to corruption in PPSC, deserving candidates may never be able to get hired and members of the corrupt mafia would join the government machinery to continue with their evil designs. Until and unless the corruption as well as the murder of merit is overturned, it is very unlikely for any government in Pakistan to implement any version of reforms and to ensure the citizen’s fundamental right to equality.
