PPSC Issues Notification for Relaxation in Deposit of Fee

In view of Covid-19 crisis, countries acrossthe world are facing lockdown conditions in order to contain the spread of novel coronavirus.

Businesses, transportation, educational institutions are closed in several countries of the world amid Covid-19 pandemic.

Earlier, the Punjab Public Service Commission in pursuance of Government of the Punjab Order announced the closure of its Regional Offices from 09.00 AM, Tuesday, 24.03.2020 till 09.00 AM, Tuesday, 07.04.2020. But, the recruiting agency didn’t stop the job advertisements. Recently, PPSC as well as other job advertisement companies have posted various job advertisements on their official websites.

Due to the prevailing circumstances of uncertainty, many students are unable to apply for these advertisements as the due process requires internet connection as well as access to printing press and banking facility.

Punjab Public Service Commission, however,  has issued notification regarding PPSC Relaxation in deposit of fee by keeping in view the Covid-19 restrictions.

According to the Notification the candidates can deposit the fee even after the last date to deposit the fee is gone.

“In view COVID 19 restrictions candidates are facing difficulties in depositing fee before the closing dates of applications. PPSC has decided to relax the condition of depositing Fee before the closing date of applications. Now the candidates can deposit fee even after the closing date of applications,” the notification read.

“However, they will be required to show the deposit slip at the time of written tests or at the time of interviews where tests are not being held and candidates are called for interviews directly. The online application forms are being amended accordingly,” the notification added.
