PIA Flight PK8303 that was carrying 91 passengers and eight crew, crashed on approach to the busy Jinnah International Airport. Two passengers are among the survivors as per the initial report.
An eyewitness told the BBC he had heard a massive sound when he’s coming back after offering his prayer. and went outside his home.
“Almost four houses were completely collapsed, there were so much fire and smoke,” another eyewitness told BBC.
Faisal Edhi, the son of late legendary Abdul Satar Eidhi reached the area of the plane crash with his team to take part in the rescue operation. He narrates that it’s difficult to transfer the injured to the hospital because the plane crashed and ended in about 20ft wide street.
He said that they’re carrying the injured from rooftops because the street is occupied by plane debris. Eyewitness report that the plane was unusually at lower height moments before it crashed into the residential area near Jinnah International Airport.

The plane hit six houses, causing their roofs to collapse. According to the Aviation Division, the pilot had given an emergency signal to the airport. The black box of the PIA plane has been found, according to the Civil Aviation Authority. It would be sent for decoding.
Of the 99 people who were on board the ill-fated plane, 97 are dead. Only two passengers survived the incident and one of them was Bank of Punjab President Zafar Mehmood. Families of the plane crash victims will be given financial compensation, announced the Interior Minister Ijaz Shah. He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will not leave them alone in this difficult time.
